Hole in One

Manhattan Beach golfer Matt Sevigny brought his fiance Maria to the greens to teach her a few tips. They had to play fight to get her off her phone first! They were all laughs and love during their session on the Marriott golf course. The couple wanted to capture their local stomping ground so ventured around the Manhattan Beach Pier and Maria's favorite shops. I wish I would have been able to travel to their Puerto Rico destination wedding. I can't wait to see how amazing it is!

My Valentine

I'm in love with my little Valentine Rozalyn. We shared an amazing afternoon together adventuring around The Lab crawling on trailers and art installations. I thought I was going to sneak in some shopping which is hilarious. We walked into Urban Outfitters and immediately she ran in the window display and put on the mannequin shoes. It took bread pudding at the Gypsy Den to convince her to sit still. It's not easy chasing a nineteen month old child with a camera, but I snuck in a few sweet shots. She was rockin' her new Desigual gear from Lollipop Redondo Beach. She steals my heart.

Winter Wonderland

Lisa + Victor's December winter wedding was a dreamy and romantic celebration. The purple details were perfect and the Verandas Manhattan Beach setting was beautiful. Flower Fusion created amazing floral designs and center pieces, the entire room was glowing and smelled incredible. It rained on their day so the couple exchanged vows indoors with a very intimate and beautiful ceremony.

Since it rained on Lisa's wedding day, which is good luck, I asked her what type of advise she would give to brides having winter weddings.

"First of all have a back up plan if you're planning a winter wedding. You can't control mother nature. But, I actually feel like the wedding turned out better being indoors. It became much more of an intimate and romantic affair with the candles, fireplace, and coziness of the setting, If rain looks like it's in the forecast for you wedding day have a backup plan for wedding photos, a large umbrella to keep you and your dress dry, and expect that guest may be late because of the weather." -Mrs. Wells

Lisa was a spectacular bride. Victor stayed cool and composed. When they held each other you just knew they were meant to be. They surprised guests with a hilarious comedian that really got the party started. It was a fun reception where everyone took pictures in the Mobil Photo Booth and danced the night away. I got teary eyed when the newly weds danced and Lisa gave a thank you speech to her lovely mother. It was a joy to be a part of their day.

Good Works

We kicked off the new year supporting CRE Outreach at their Fred Segal launch party January 13th to reviel the Butterfly Effect Braille Pendant installation. The Good Work Space in Fred Segal gives non-profit organizations an opportunity to share their cause with the community. CRE Outreach's mission is to use theatre to enhance self-esteem, encourage self-expression and empower individuals to overcome the challenges in their lives. To raise funds they are selling beautiful braille copper pendants with the words: Believe, Transform and Create. Also you can purchase tickets to their theater production in February and March. It was a touching evening full of supportors and a speeches by the blind actors. Stop in to see the space it's very cool and even better you really are helping make a difference!

New Year! New Website!

We are ready for an amazing year. After recovering from the holidays we launched our new website (thanks to Amanda)! Wow that was a serious project... and we haven't stopped since diving right into wedding show season and planning creative events for Spring. We will announce dates for our South Bay Love Tour: Wedding & Wine Wednesdays soon. With twenty-six weddings already booked I know 2011 is going to be full of inspiration and love.
