Kissing Canoe

Kelly + Travis jumped in a canoe and paddled around the Venice canals during their engagement session. I on the other hand was in for a workout running from bridge to bridge. The canals are a sentimental place for the couple so it was a very romantic afternoon. People cheered as they kissed and they never took their eyes off each other. I am looking forward to their July wedding!

It's Liz!

Liz was so natural in front of the camera. She swears she hasn't done this before but I don't believe her. Her shoot was laid back and we connected right away. I'm excited for Liz to launch her website and begin her career. Days like these remind me how much I love what I do.

Surfin' Sofia

I met sweet Sofia and her family in Redondo Beach last August and I've had the opportunity to capture her growing up. Her one year portraits were very special. It's unbelievable how much she has blossomed and how smart she is. She told me what monkey's eat and pointed to the colors on surfboards. We went her her favorite stomping grounds at the Hermosa Pier. She loved the sand. A true beach baby. While we were walking by the stores she bolted straight for the bathing suit rack at Spyder, watch out mom and dad.

Love in Manhattan

Esther and Vincent, vet tech and vegan chef, were glowing at their Manhattan Beach engagement session. They were smitten in love. Licking each others ice cream and smooching. The Creamery management thought I was the papparazi and checked with the couple to make sure I wasn't bothering them, it was pretty funny.
